I promise you're not alone in feeling this way. College can be incredibly lonely and overwhelming, especially when you're dealing with academic stress.

The thing about missing tests and classes is that it feels huge in the moment, but there's always a solution if you're proactive about it.

First step: email your professors and be honest about what you're going through.

Second step: check your university's mental health resources.

Third step: be kind to yourself - you're dealing with a lot right now. Have you considered joining any study groups?

Wowww, this hit different because I went through something similar last semester. The academic pressure is reallll. I know everyone's probably telling you "it gets better," but honestly, what helped me was taking it one hour at a time when days felt too overwhelming. Hit up the campus counseling center too they're actually pretty chill and helped me get my stuff together. Keep pushing forward, fam. πŸ™Œ

@maxinetaylor53253 I was thinking that , but they are charging high for it and I don't want to let know all in my department of this.

@Skull Thank you for your support. I feel so relaxed when I speak up here 🀍.The reason for I am so scared is the subject faculty of that missed test is our director, so I am scared for that.

I'm a senior now, and I want to share something important with you. Four years ago, I was in your exact position - shaking hands, missed exams, no friends, and that horrible feeling of being stuck. It felt like the world was ending. But everyone's pretending they have it all figured out, but trust me, they don't. Join study groups in your major. Sit next to different people in class. Join clubs that interest you, even if you think you're "not good enough." Go to campus events, even if you have to go alone. Start small - maybe just smile at someone in class. Quality over quantity, always. About your mental health - please, please consider visiting thrpist. I resisted for two years and regret not going sooner

@growe907 don't worry about it, I know how hard it can be and that it can suck so much, but it will come to an end, I promise! that's great that you're thinking about therapy though, definitely try to save some money for that, there are online therapist, if you're uncomfortable with going to someone in person

@dolores24712 yeah, I agree. I've been exactly where the op are rn and I know how much it sucks. The whole college experience can be super isolating, especially when you're dealing with academic stress. Take a deep breath. Like, literally right now. Please don't keep all these feelings bottled up inside. Your school probably has free counseling services that can help

 I agree w/ a lot that's been said here.

Also, try to establish a routine - even a simple one can help ground you when everything feels chaotic. Take it one day at a time. We've all been there, and we're rooting for you! Hang in there! πŸ’«

Missing a test is scary, but it's not the end of the world (trust me on this one). I missed two last semester and somehow survived lol. You need to email your professor ASAP and explain the situation honestly. Most of them are actually understanding if you're upfront about it. About the friend situation - making friends in college is HARD and anyone who says different is lying TO YOU!

@Luna_234 I think it's too late now , it was of directors subject , today I was very happy for nothing I wasn't feeling any anxiety but it doesn't last for long, that friend spoiled my mood today because I just told him not to say that words to me because it was not sounding good to me

I get you.

Take things one day at a time. Don't compare your journey to others'. If you need to cry, cry. If you need to scream into a pillow, do it.

This phase of your life is temporary. You will get through this. You will find your people. You will look back one day and be proud of how far you've come. And most importantly, you matter, your feelings matter, and this too shall pass.

Sending you strength and support!
