I’m really happy to hear that you’re feeling better and taking steps toward independence. That's huge! You should be really proud of yourself for the progress! You can definitely be independent. Being independent doesn’t mean you have to do everything alone. It’s about finding a balance between relying on yourself and leaning on others for support when needed. Balance is key in all of the aspects of our life. Keep believing in yourself!

Wow, it’s so amazing to see how much progress you’ve made since your last post! It sounds like you’re starting to find your own path and embrace the idea of independence. Finding hobbies and activities you enjoy can be such a powerful way to build self-confidence and discover new passions. TikTok is a great start! When I was healing from my toxic ex, it was like a breath of fresh air. As if I could finally do something for myself and not be afraid of their reaction. I'm happy for you, really!

Hi, I remember your first post and overlooked the second, sorry! First off, I want to say that it's so great to see how much progress you've made and how you're taking steps to become more independent. I know it can be really tough, but you're doing an amazing job so far. I also struggled with becoming more independent, and I want to share some things that really helped me along the way.

Something that made a huge difference was learning to say no. It's so easy to get caught up in trying to please everyone, but it's important to prioritize yourself and your well-being. Saying no doesn't make you a bad person. It just means you're taking care of yourself. I started small, like saying no to plans when I needed some alone time, and it made a big difference in how I felt.

I also found that surrounding myself with positive people was crucial. It's amazing to see how much support you have from everyone here. Keep those positive influences close, and don't be afraid to lean on them when you need to. Having a strong support system can make all the difference. Keep up the amazing work, and don't forget to be proud of yourself for all the progress you've made!

@Anonymous Prince came here to say exactly this! Learning to say no and prioritize yourself is a crucial aspect of becoming independent. It's important to establish boundaries and understand that it's okay to turn down invitations or requests if they don't align with your needs or values. Surrounding yourself with positive, supportive people can have a huge impact on your path towards independence. And additionally: just don't stop! There will be days when you won't feel motivated and happy and that's perfectly normal too! But just don't stop. The progress you're making is very real and it can't be taken away.
