Crying is normal emotional response due to various different reasons. There are times we cry for no reason but if it is happening for 2 years then there is often a logical and underlying reason for it. It is symptoms of depression or burnout or anxiety or stress. Depression leads to sleep troubles, feeling of emptiness, suicidal ideation. Generally sometime you are unaware of how much stress you in. Stress takes its own way to be released which can be in form of crying.it is very important that you take an help of therapist who can help you to find the underlying cause.
You should also deal with this by practising deep breathing meditation everyday. This will help in calming the emotion.
You should also maintain a journal. when you don't communicate your feelings and as you say you are scared to go outside then do start journalling. write down what you feel and why are you scared to meet people? has anything happened in the past which has created that fear? how were you previously before 2 yrs ( did you meet people often, did you have close knit friends)? has anyone close to you lied and hurt your feelings? sometimes you are unable to share what you feel to others then it is important you write down those feelings or share it with a therapist or in social groups where you don't have the fear of being judged. Failure to communicate your heart felt emotions lead to anger, frustration, irritation which in turn triggers you to cry.
Think of some activity which you would enjoy to do. atleast try doing that activity like walking in park or swimming or watching a movie or listening to music or painint. anything which can distract your mind and keep you happy. or even think of being part of ngo. social cause also helps you to find a new meaning in life.
You need to start replacing your negative thoughts with positive ones. start with one thought like fed up. now say positively how can you change it. write down what is in your life beautiful that you have overlooked as you are occupied with negative thoughts. now keep repeating that positive line.
