Hi,

Social anxiety can be the reason you feel that. Someone must be just laughing at a joke when you are passing by but you may think he is laughing at you or making fun of your looks or the way you walk. It is all about overthinking which leads to anxiety. Your overthinking can outweigh the logic and cause you emotional turmoil.

For this overthinking you You need to question your irrational beliefs. You need to ask yourself why do you feel they are laughing at you? are they really laughing at you or is it just your thoughts? Only if you question these thoughts it will help you to understand what is true, logical and what is your assumptions. These irrational thoughts causes insecurity and unhappiness in your life.

When you question these thoughts it will also help you understand from where are these thoughts shaping. Had anything happened in the past which makes you think like that. any previous history of emotional physical abuse, insecure attachment style.it will help you understand if there is any other underlying cause or reason for this assumption. You can also write down these negative thoughts and see if you can make it positive.

You can try reframing the situation to understand if there is any other explanation to what you are thinking or any other interpretation. With practise you can reframe your thoughts to challenge this negative thinking.

You also need to practise yoga everyday. Also can practise breathing exercises when you feel anxious.

It is very important you build your confidence and self esteem, such thoughts don't affect your personality. kindly go to a therapist who can help you with this through series of sessions of talk therapy

Hey, it’s clear that something worries you.

Can you tell in more detail what has happened to you?

What was it that turned out not to be your fault?

@random coffee I think it’s clear that the person is anxious, feels lonely, and so agitated that they found it more comfortable to write in their own language...

Dear Akanksha, sorry, I can’t speak your language but please know we’re with you and we do care about you. 🫶

You're stronger than you think, and you're capable of overcoming whatever challenges come your way. You can reveal to us what made you so anxious whenever you feel ready. Hang in there, you are NOT alone.

Unfortunately, it’s true. :(

Only very few people care… they exist out there, you just need to find them and hold on to them. Being with those few who truly and genuinely love you actually makes life worth living

Author, you are awesome, and you are worthy of all the good things unconditionally, simply because you exist! Do try to value yourself more and don’t blame yourself nor worry about the things that are not under your control. I hope you’re feeling better today 🍀

Count me weird for saying this, but the only person who should care about your feelings is you. No one else’s opinion matters as long as you’re content, and your conscience is at peace. Friends, partners come and go, their judgement should not be more important than your own inner compass. You’re living for yourself, enjoy the ride!

The one thing I understood from what little Hindi I know is that you have a lot of anxiety and you are afraid you can’t control yourself or your thoughts. And you’re worried others will make fun of you.

All I can advise is you should learn the techniques to fight back at your anxiety. Start with these videos:
